Filter refurbishment
Looking to update your existing filter or wanting to refurbish a second-hand machine? At Filtration Services Ltd we have undertaken many filter refurbishment projects; breathing new life into old equipment.
The refurbishment work can be undertaken at the client's premises of off-site depending upon requirements. In some cases we are asked to source equipment for specific applications and, to this end, we maintain an extensive list of available filters - from both equipment dealers and customers' reduntant plant.
During filter refurbishment work we will replace worn or broken components. If replacement items are obsolete then we will design and manufacture new components.
Our main area of expertise is on rotary drum vacuum filters [RDVFs], and have refurbished many types, sizes and makes including equipment from:
- Stockdale
- Paxman
- Dorr-Oliver
- Eimco
- Alpha Laval
- Lundin ... and others
Where an RDVF is designed for operation with a precoat we can retrofit the Filtration Services automatic knife advance system [AKAS]. This unique development ensures precise control of the knife advance rate. It results in increased cycle times and can provide significant savings on precoat usage. The AKAS is easy operation and maintenance. The AKAS can be easily retrofitted to existing RDVFs (e.g. Stockdale, Paxman, Dorr-Oliver, Eimco etc).
