Filtration Services Ltd Filtration Services Ltd has designed and developed a laboratory scale rotary drum vacuum filter [RDVF] with interchangeable discharge systems. The filter, manufactured from stainless steel, has a filtration area of 0.1m2. It replicates the operation and performance of a full scale RDVF in many ways. The filter comes complete with a filtrate receiver, filtrate pump and control panel. It is easy to assemble and simple to operate. The control panel is used to set the drum rotational speed, the agitator oscillation rate and, when used, the precoat knife advance rate. The filtration flux rate is displayed on the control panel.
