Aprochim Indexmatic
APROCHIM INDEXMATIC pressure belt filters provide high solution quality with minimal labour and maintenance costs. The INDEXMATIC is
used extensively for the treatment of phosphating and electroplating wastes, where it avoids the need to batch treat with activated carbon. This minimises the accumulation of sludge at the bottom of the vat, waste disposal problems, losses of electrolyte and additional agents.
The INDEXMATIC is also suitable for many other filtration applications where a high throughput is required or the solids are coarse and rapid settling. The INDEXMATIC is available as a fully automatic filter with models ranging from 30 to 140dm2 filtration area to handle nominal flow rates from 10,000 to 50,000 litres/hour, or semi automatic, with models ranging from 30 to 100dm2.

When a finer filtration efficiency is required or the feed material causes
premature blinding of the filter medium, the INDEXMATIC can be provided
with a precoat addition system PRE- KOTE 'PK'. |

Where solutions have heavy organic contamination the INDEXMATIC can be fitted with a carbon treatment system - ACTIVCARBO 'AC'. This avoids expensive and complex treatments in the tank or in the filter unit. |
